Kids Soar is a faith based non-profit organization whose mission is to empower the next generation of children to SOAR to success. Supporting our fundraising events ensures that all children no matter their economic status are able to receive our services and support so they can achieve their full potential. Literacy Program Fundraiser

Parents do you need a night kid free? On October 25th Kids Soar is hosting a Parents Night Out. You can drop your child/ren of for a night of fun, while you get to do whatever you wish. This event is for children ages 4-12 and is from 5-9pm. The kids will have a night of food, games, movies and fun, while you enjoy a night out! All our staff are background checked.

Pasta Dinner Fundraiser -Tuesday, November 5,2024

Join us for Kids Soar’s 4th Annual Pasta Dinner on Tuesday, November 5th, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM! After casting your vote on Election Day, stop by for a hearty meal—dine-in or curbside pickup available. Each meal includes pasta with your choice of meat or marinara sauce, fresh bread, a side salad, dessert, and if you're dining in, a beverage as well. Tickets are $13 in advance or $15 at the door, and family four-packs are $42 in advance or $54 on the day of the event. If you are ordering for a large group, please call 540-342-3103 or email info@kidsoar.org as we may be able to offer a deeper discount for the meals and arrange to have them ready at the time you wish. For those choosing curbside pickup, we’ll bring the meal straight to your car, so you can enjoy a homemade dinner with your family, hassle-free. If you're ordering for a group, we've made it easy with a "copy previous" option to streamline the process—just fill in your contact info once, and you're set! All proceeds from this event directly support Kids Soar's literacy programs, helping empower children in Roanoke. We appreciate your support and look forward to sharing a meal together as we continue working toward breaking the cycle of poverty through education. Reading gives children the chance for a better future

There is a strong correlation between poverty and illiteracy and our hope is that the children who come through our program are given the environment and skills they need to soar.

Kids Soar is a faith based non-profit.
After-School program serving K-5th grade, Mon-Friday 2:00pm to 6:00pm.
Research based curriculum used to develop a child's love of reading.
Children in our program will read or have read to them over 800 books in a year.

The children have been having a blast this summer. They have Paper Meche'd hot air balloons, made strawberry jam, and made a stuffed animal friend and learned how to care for them. The kids have also planted seeds for a butterfly garden. Check back here often to see what else we have been up to.
